A Jesuit-educated disciple, he graduated from The Ateneo de Manila University in Loyola Heights, QC, Philippines major in Business Management in 1966. Held various management positions in Aboitiz Marketing Corp., Rustan's Supermarkets, Shoemart, and Greyhound Commissary Services ( KSA).

Started with JIL-Las Vegas in 1996 and served as Worship Service Coordinator, Cell Group Leader, Couples Ministry Head, Special Events and Projects Coordinator,  Media Ministry with live radio broadcasts and JIL 12 Teacher.  Presently, He is the coordinator of JIL Northeast 4, Wednesday Church Service.

Married to Oda Luisa for 33 years, they put up and managed their own business in 1985 in the manufacture and export of various houseware products.  He was elected President of the Cebu Gift, Toys, and Housewares Manufacturers and Exporters Association for 2003 & 2004.  They also established a hardware store in Cebu City from 1990 -1995.
