Pastor Al Abalos is currently the Church Pastor of JIL Honolulu, Hawaii and formerly the Church Pastor of JIL Mira Mesa in San Diego, California. He is also the current JIL USA Regional Administrative Officer. He was ordained a Minister of the Gospel by Bishop (Bro.) Eddie C. Villanueva in October of 2005. He has been in ministry service since 1992 and has served in different ministries such as maintenance, SOS, ushering, education, ministerial team, and administration.

Pastor Al Abalos is married to Pastor Bless Abalos. Their two children Zion and Alby-John are both actively serving in the ministry with them. Pastor Al is a retired United States Navy Chief with over 21 years of active duty service. He retired from the military in March 2004 and served in full-time ministry effective October 2005. He and his family currently reside in San Diego, California.
